A good cut never goes out of style.

A traditional men's barber and stylist on Yonge Street in Summerhill — run with the same steady hand for half a century. Sit down, talk it over, and leave looking like yourself, only sharper.

Fifty years on the same block.

Joseph's opened its doors on Yonge Street in the mid-1970s and has been cutting hair in Summerhill ever since — long enough that regulars who first came in as boys now bring their own sons.

“Sit down, tell me what you want, and let's get it right.”

It's an old-fashioned shop in the best sense: scissors and clippers, an honest conversation, and a finish you don't have to fuss over at home. No app, no upsell — just a proper cut from someone who has done it tens of thousands of times.

What we do.

Prices are indicative — cash & card, Apple Pay accepted. Ask in the shop for exact rates.

No fuss. No appointment necessary.

Walk in, hang up your coat, and wait your turn — it usually doesn't take long. We keep it simple on purpose: a clean shop, a sharp pair of scissors, and the time to do the job properly.

Half a century in, the goal hasn't changed. You should walk out feeling like the best version of yourself, and want to come back in a few weeks.
